The term Business Intelligence (BI) refers to technologies, applications and practices for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business information. The purpose of Business Intelligence is to support better business decision making.
It is of paramount importance that accurate information is given to the decision makers in an organization, so as to ensure that well-informed decisions can be made, and so as to ensure the sustainability of the business and retention and acquisition of customers.
Data is only as good as the information inputted into the software program. Remember the old adage: garbage in, garbage out. Well, nowhere will it show to be more true than when analyzing business data that has been captured incorrectly. These errors could cost millions, if not billions of dollars, and perhaps even the existence of the business.
It is therefore important to know the basics of Business Intelligence, factors you need to take into consideration when creating a Business Intelligence project, and how best to safeguard yourself from potential errors that can prove to be costly to the livelihood of business and its employees.

Throughout Jenny's career, she has dedicated herself to understanding the connection between our inner world and our outer experiences, that either results in our successes or failures, both personally and professionally. This journey led her to explore the human condition, our true nature, and the ways we can create our own lives by design. She focused much of her attention on how the way we think, and what we believe, directly impacts our lives, both professionally and personally. Her passion for emotional and mental wellbeing stems from her own challenges and experiences in her professional and personal life. She has a very hands-on approach in her coaching sessions, and she believes true change can only happen from within, and not through trying to cram more and more knowledge into our lives. With a career spanning decades in Human Resources, as a senior executive, Business Admin and HR Director, Jenny reached a point where she felt unfulfilled in the corporate world. After leaving corporate life in 2016, Jenny has focused on emotional and mental wellbeing, and bringing this to both the workplace and individuals alike. She is a licensed and certified HeartMath Mentor in Building Personal Resilience, a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and holds an honorary doctorate in Metaphysics. Her qualifications, combined with her extensive corporate experience, enables her to integrate knowledge and practical experience into her coaching sessions. As a coach, mentor, course creator, and guide, Jenny specializes in helping professionals manage stress, shift perceptions, and achieve emotional and mental balance, both in their personal and professional lives.
